'Reptiles and Insects'

South Luangwa River.

One of its many large croccodiles.

A python curled up in a tree. Our guide (Prince) spotted it on our morning walking safari out of the Nsolo bush camp.

This is what makes walking safaris so interesting. The spectrum of wildlife on the way ranges from the very big to the 'finger-small'.

This pretty grasshopper looks quite special. Its angular platy appearance shows a striking semblance to some of man's warfare 'stealth' (low radar) designs.

The tree frog. Nsolo bush camp.

In the open shower area of our cabin, these night frogs showed up every day. As the name gives away, they are skilled climbers that preferred to have their rest half way up the fencing reed screens.
