Panorama view of Cape Town with the 'Tafelberg' dominating its mountains backdrop. A one hour helicopter flight over Cape Town and the Cape peninsula made us enjoy (and photograph) the amazing vistas of this beautiful 'Lands End' of South Afrika.

Along the East coast of the Cape peninsula a breeding colony of penguins occupies Boulder Beach right in the middle of Simonstown.
The colony counts some 3000 birds at present. The first single breeding pair settled here in 1982
